LEONIDS: Hindi nagkaroon ng meteor storm this year. Pero maganda yung lumabas na meteor shower. Super bright fireballs. Masmarami daw sa night before (Nov 16-17) pero hindi ako nanood noon. Noong tumingin ako from 4-5 am on the morning of Nov 18 ay nakakita ako ng 10 fireballs. Sabi sa news report ay 30 per hour daw sa Tokyo. Umabot ng 150 per hour sa Gunma Prefecture. In any case, kahit walang storm ay maganda pa rin dahil mas-spectacular sa Geminids. Abangan niyo rin ito dahil Geminids normally ang pinakamagandang meteor shower ng bawat taon. Dec. 13-14 ang peak day.

EVENT CALENDAR: Wala masyadong interesting for the rest of November except for two occultations in Tokyo. Venus should begin to become visible in the evening sky starting this December.
